Hi there!

I began my professional journey as a young adult working in various settings with people struggling to make better choices. As I worked with individuals from widely diverse backgrounds and walks of life, I began to appreciate the power of one hand reaching out. I became profoundly aware that most people are able to build a more fulfilling life, not because of good advice, but because another person was willing to walk with them, assist them in navigating unfamiliar territory, and be part of the process of discovering their potential.

As a counselor, I view any obstacle a person is facing as an opportunity to develop a rich story of navigating new paths. While all of us face painful and difficult experiences, I believe these provide an opportunity to connect, and discover unconditional acceptance of self and others.

I primarily work with children, adolescents, teens, and families as a part of their process to become their most authentic, resilient self. I am dedicated to being present while people address painful experiences and move toward healing through discovery of the internal strength each person possesses.

Education:

Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling - Amberton University

Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Science - University of North Texas (Go MEAN GREEN!)

My 10+ years of counseling experiences include working at Public Schools, Charter Schools, Outpatient facilities, and Inpatient Hospitals. My counseling philosophy is based on the belief that we all want/need to feel accepted for who we are in order to accept and integrate the various parts of ourselves. I draw from various therapy methods, throughout the process, depending on the individual client's needs. It is my goal to provide a safe space, free of judgment or criticism, in which clients feel comfortable exposing and exploring their innermost thoughts and feelings. I view the counseling process as a collaborative effort between client and counselor and believe it is most successful when both parties are fully committed.

Hi, I’m Nicole! I am passionate about bringing a fresh, relatable, and contemporary vibe to the mental health space. My goal is to make therapy feel accessible, engaging, and deeply empowering. I believe that meaningful change starts with a real, intentional connection; I take a personalized approach because while I provide the clinical tools, you are the expert of your own life and mental landscape.

I lead with a trauma-informed lens, creating a space where you feel truly heard and understood. My goal is to validate your unique experiences while helping you navigate them with confidence. I work with children, teens, and adults, specializing in the complexities of ADHD, Autism, PTSD, Anxiety, and OCD. This often includes a focus on strengthening self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and assertive communication.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. My experience in psychiatric outpatient hospitals, public school counseling, and private practice has shaped my holistic, comprehensive approach.

By blending Existential Therapy with CBT, REBT, and DBT techniques, I provide a well-rounded experience that goes beyond traditional talk therapy. Originally from Ohio, I developed a strong interest in psychology and the complexities of the human brain during my undergraduate studies at Wilmington College. My academic experience sparked a lasting passion for understanding mental health and the diverse ways it impacts individuals. I went on to earn my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Illinois University, further deepening my commitment to supporting others in their mental health journeys. After completing my studies, I relocated to Texas to expand my clinical experience and continue growing as a counselor.

I bring a diverse background in the mental health field, beginning with my work in community mental health, where I supported individuals in recognizing their strengths and building resilience. In Texas, I gained valuable experience in a psychiatric clinic, working closely with

patients and their families as they pursued stability and personal growth. Throughout my career, I have served as a Case Manager, Associate Program Director, and Associate Clinical Supervisor—roles that have strengthened my dedication to helping others navigate their paths

toward healing.

My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. While I have a particular focus on supporting teenagers and young adults—especially individuals on the autism spectrum—I welcome clients across all age groups. In my work as an individual counselor, I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and narrative therapy. My goal is to help clients identify their strengths and use them as tools for meaningful growth and change.

Outside of my professional life, I prioritize both physical and mental well-being through regular exercise and time spent outdoors. I enjoy exploring new experiences, especially when shared with friends, and value being an active member of my community. I also regularly attend church, which plays an important role in supporting my personal faith and connection with others.

Hi, I’m Katie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, focused on blending creativity and connection.

My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe enough to be real, challenged enough to grow, and supported every step of the way. We’ll work on gaining insight, building coping tools, and untangling patterns that aren’t serving you anymore.

I enjoy supporting teens and adults working through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, perfectionism, people pleasing, maladaptive coping skills such as self harm, substance use, all through a trauma and survival lens. Together, we’ll explore what’s behind these behaviors and find healthier ways to cope. LGBTQ+ affirming, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted.

With years of experience in different levels of care, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient, I bring a steady, compassionate presence to help you feel more like yourself again. I’m Master Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an effective/creative approach to healing trauma.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me soaking up the sunshine. Whether I’m camping, kayaking, traveling, or just relaxing by the pool. I’m a proud plant parent and a novice gardener. I share my home with two very opinionated fur-babies: a Catahoula pup and a snuggly tabby cat.

No matter what we are addressing, I’ll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and a bit of humor to help lighten the load.

Education: I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Texas State University and went on to receive my Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, where I focused on mental health and substance use. I also had the opportunity to study Ecotherapy while abroad in England, combining my love for nature with my therapeutic approach.

Hi, I’m Courtney.

My work as a counselor is rooted in helping clients feel understood, supported, and better able to manage the challenges showing up in everyday life. Many times, people come to counseling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move through what they are facing. My goal is to provide a steady, supportive space where clients can better understand what is getting in the way, strengthen coping skills, and begin to feel more grounded in daily life.

My professional background is rooted in education, school counseling, and military service. I bring over a decade of experience in education, including my ongoing work as a school counselor and prior experience as a classroom teacher. I have worked with children, adolescents, families, and school communities addressing a range of academic, emotional, and developmental needs. My military service has also shaped how I understand structure, pressure, transition, and functioning within demanding systems.

I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, and parents who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, school stress, life transitions, and coping skills. Because of my experience in schools, I understand how stress, attention difficulties, emotional overwhelm, family dynamics, and academic pressure can impact confidence, behavior, relationships, and daily functioning.

My approach is warm, practical, strengths-based, and goal-focused. I value focused, purposeful counseling that helps clients better understand patterns, recognize what is already working, strengthen coping skills, and improve regulation. I view counseling as a collaborative process where clients feel respected, supported, and encouraged while working toward meaningful, manageable change.
